Award Forms

Youth Awards
The Rosary Patch The Rosary Series focuses on the Mysteries of the Holy Rosary and How to Pray the Rosary. This is an opportunity for youth and adults to learn more about their faith. All youths and adults can work on this activity and earn the patch. This activity can be worked on individually or as a group. Click here for more information.

This religious activity honors those men and women who led heroic lives of faith. Their words, their deeds, and their devotion to prayer and to the sacraments, inspire all American Catholics. In the Church calendar for the United States, some have the rank of "Saint" and are venerated by the Universal Church. Some have the rank of "Blessed" and are venerated by the Local Church. Some have the rank of "Venerable" and, while on the way to becoming a "Saint", may be venerated by Catholics. Most of these men and women lived and worked in North America in what is now the United States. Some others never set foot in America, however they had a huge impact on the Catholic American landscape. All of them sought to follow Jesus. The available activities are listed here.

Eagle Scout Certificate Certificates from the National Catholic Committee on Scouting recognizing Catholic Scouts who have attained the rank of Eagle Scout are available for $3. Contact Melvin Hart for details, or fill out an online certificate request form. Turn around time is one week.

Bishop Morkovsky Award The Bishop Morkovsky Award may be presented by the Diocesan Catholic Committee on Scouting to any Catholic Scout/Venturer between the ages of 14 and 20, in recognition of contributions to the Catholic Scouting Program of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, particularly by participation in DCCS Scouting events, as well as his/her having filled other offices or posts in the Scouting Program.
